FOREWORD
This site was created at the turn of the century between the years of 2002 and 2003 or-so. It was created for the pupose of leaving to my sons as best as I knew to do at that moment in time a record of my challenges, attempts, and contemplations.

I did not expect to be alive beyond the winter of 2003. This was my attempt to communicate with their future-selves (they were ages 3 and 5 years or-so when this site was created) to assure them that I loved them immensely and I valued what God had given them in their inalienable rights as American citizens and in their inherent rights as children born in wedlock. These RIGHTS were NOT for me to wontonly traipse upon and I DID NOT!

This site had not been updated for years! It has been about 8 years since this site had been updated. The first recent updates were in August 2012 just prior to my visit to Aiken SC. Some of the links are likely to no longer connect to the webpages of yore. I apologize for that but that is the nature of our cyber world. As this is an emotionally charged site for me I do not care to revisit the writings of those days of yore to update links; therefore, please know that an update to this site is most often an update of present day goings-ons and contemplations and NOT an update to the writings of days long past. This still remains my footprints and shout-outs to my young sons (now ages 15 and 13 years).

According to New York Etiquette Guide (2009), "Recent studies have shown that emotional intelligence (EI) is as central to a child's success and fulfillment as good grades and a college degree. Etiquette seeks to enhance the EI of children by encouraging them to express and discuss their emotions, thereby impoving their social sensitivies and public behavior." I could not agree more with the author Jeremy Willinger's statement, "If your child grows up to be a doctor but is greedy and uncaring, that advanced degree counts for very little, for you would have failed miserably in nurturing a true human being." (http://www.etiquetteoutreach.com)
